Back to the gist on ground,i just got a bb message from a blog visitor. Here's what he had to say :
Meme,hi. I'm an ardent reader of your blog. I must say i'm thoroughly enjoying your blog especially the relationship aspect of it. I got your pin from there and added you. Hp u don't mind?
Would you mind if I put up a question that has been bothering me all day?Will be glad if you published it. You see I started seeing this girl,age 25 for about 3 months now and invited her to my house for the first time last weekend. To be precise she came on a Friday and left this morning. You won't believe she made my life a living hell through the weekend with her lousy meals! She told me she was so tired to go to the market,that friday she came over.I didn't argue,i went and bought the food stuff,only for her to prepare ordinary rice n stew that turned out burnt beyond redemption,with the stew watery n damn too peppery! Being the gentleman that I am i smiled and told how it was okay. The funny thing was that she saw nothing wrong with the food. She ate it all with relish and even went for more!
The next day was another disaster! Porridge was like potopoto (mud) I just couldn't eat it. Like the previous day,she descended on the meal and finished it. But at night,she was a tigress in bed,giving a brother all he ever wished for sexually!
Meme,yesterday was the worst! She insisted she was going to prepare ogbono soup with poundo yam. Eventually she did,but it wasn't exactly Ogbono,and wasn't even something close! I literally threw up.
She left this morning and promised to see me tomorrow. Now,how am I going to tell my girl that she's such a lousy cook without hurting her feelings? She seems to believe she's a wonderful cook and that's even worse for me.

If you really love her and want to make it work,sit her down and gently broach the subject. If she
wants to make it work as well then she should be willing to go the extra mile to do something about her lousy kitchen kills -sorry -skills..

If u luv her u just tell her the truth that she's a lousy cook. She can make amends by joining cookery sch or u get someone to teach her whn she comes to ur house for weekends. That's wht luv its all abt accepting everything abt ur partner good n bad.wishing the best.
ReplyDeleteIf he loves her enough, the guy should talk it over with her & find solutions like, enroll her in a catering school or if she's sharp enough, she can learn from the net so that the ministry can move to the permanent site. Because the truth is;Love varies, beauty fades ... HUNGER REMAINS CONSTANT!!

ReplyDeleteThe way 2 a mans heart is through his stomach. I believe those wiser than me said this. Let's face facts most men will love a badass dish that will blow their minds out. If I were him, I'll seat her down look her straight in d eye and tell her I'm disappointed in her mother and without smiling tell her I loved d night action and would want her 2 enroll in a catering school. If she feels hurt and wants 2 end d relationship fine. If she feels hurt but submissive and respectful enuf 2 enroll in one then even if she eventually doesn't become as good as I expect her 2b I'll eat d charcoal happily 4d rest of my life. Like Christ said, its not wot enters a man that makes him unclean but what comes out of him. A virtuos woman who can find.
