Ex Gov of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu calls for the arrest & persecution of ex-president Obasanjo.

Former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday, called for the arrest and prosecution of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, alleging that he started active corruption in Nigeria’s political circle.

Speaking at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, Dr. Kalu pointed out that he wonders why former President Obasanjo was still walking the streets free, stressing that after the reply of his letter by President Goodluck Jonathan, he (Obasanjo) should have been arrested and prosecuted.

According to him, the $16 billion power sector fraud was committed under ex-President Obasanjo, affirming that he could not even show good leadership as  President during his tenure, adding that he used his position to fight political enemies.

He said: “Well, let me tell you, Obasanjo is part of the problems of this country. The earlier he goes back to his farm the better. He caused all the problems that we are going through. He was worse than Jonathan and any other president of this country.

In 1999 when he was elected President, instead of giving leadership, he went to fight political war. The goodwill this country had, he squandered it, and this is what we are suffering from today because if he had given qualitative leadership without pursuing political enemies, we would have grown.”

Ex-Gov,Adamu Mu'azu is new PDP national chairman - The will Nigeria.

Former Governor of Bauchi State Adamu Mu'azu has been chosen as the new National Chairman of the PDP.He was reportedly and unanimously adopted on Sunday night Jan. 19th at a meeting attended by president Jonathan, VP Namadi Sambo, Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees, Chief Tony Anenih; Senate President David Mark and all the state Governors elected under the PDP, amongst others according to the news report by The Will Nigeria.

The Will reports that the 58 year old politician will be unveiled formally today Monday January 20th at a Special NEC meeting of the party.

It's a plain enough question : would you sleep with that boss to retain your husband/fiance's job in that reputable firm that has been a source of amazing income to your family?
 Okay,lemme gist you how this question came about :
   I was at a salon yesterday when I listened in on the convo between two ladies. (only a deaf person that won't hear anyway..they were such loud talkers,jeez!!!) One of the ladies was narrating to the other how her husband was unceremoniously kicked out of his work place. And that however spelt doom for her family for she was a full-time housewife,all thanks to her hubby who wouldn't let his pretty wife do anything else other than take care of their three adorable kids!
But there was something else....her husband's boss had an eye on her. She'd in the past ignored his advances but hadn't mentioned it to her husband. Hmmm,her friend quickly jumped in at this juncture. She told her to use what she had to get what she wanted. "How your husband wan tek know?!" she queried,rolling her eyes in exasperation. "Give it to him jor and save your husband's job. To work in an oil company no be beans o! "
 I was shocked. I looked at the lady who had just spoken. Oh my God,She had a wedding band on her 3rd finger.
They were still deeply engrossed in this gist even as they walked out the salon. This got me thinking afterwards...how some ladies can actually think and voice 'doing it' without batting an eyelid. What has this world turned into? Where are our values and morals? Ok,that aside..what of even our traditions that forbade a married woman of having extra -marital relationships? With disastrous consequences? Or they no longer hold? Well...i'm directing this question to you now : would you sleep with your husband's boss to save his job? Why and why not?

Sad! Oba Erediauwa of Benin Kingdom loses first wife,Queen Esther.

According to reports, Queen Esther Erediauwa (Nee Osunbor) and Eson N'erie the first wife to the Oba of Benin died at about 8pm on Saturday after a brief illness. She had been down with diabetes which reportedly deteriorated since last December.

May her sweet soul rest in perfect peace,Amen.

The perpetrators of the 'Ejigbo pepper women' assault arrested at Oba Moruf's palace in Lagos!

According to Saharareporters, the men who brutally assaulted three women in Ejigbo for stealing pepper  have been arrested!
And their arrest happened at the palace of Oba Moruf Adisa Ojoola of Ejigbo earlier on today! Great news!

The arrest was made possible due to immense pressure on  Oba Moruf himself, he reportedly got all the men assembled at his palace around 11pm Saturday night. The gathering of the gang by Oba Moruf followed a
closure of the market yesterday, which prevented the market men and women from carrying out their trading activities until the perpetrators were identified and brought to book.

The gang’s torture and sodomizing of one of the ladies by thrusting a bottle of ground pepper and sticks in her genital had resulted in her death, two months after. She was later identified as “Juliana” by her father, a palm wine tapper, who revealed that he also lost a toddler in the incidence as his wife, mother of the baby while being tortured by the gang was not allowed to attend to the baby.

In addition to torture, the gang also destroyed the palm wine tapper’s house and banished him from the community, after he was made to pay N50,000 as fine to secure the release of his wife and two daughters.

On Thursday, last week, Oba Moruf was invited by the Lagos Assembly Committee regarding the investigation into the crime. A source familiar with the meeting of the Oba with the committee told our correspondent that the Oba’s demeanor at the meeting was cooperative, and he did not spend much time. The previous day, Wednesday, the Iyaloja (Ejigbo Market women leader) also visited the committee on invitation. She was accompanied by her husband, who pledged support toward the investigation.

The Babaloja, who allegedly received a fine from the palm wine tapper and also supervised his banishment, did not honor an invitation by the committee. He gave the excuse that he had injury on his leg. But sources in the market said the Babaloja may have had the injury when he scaled a fence to escape arrest by a police  team that visited the market for investigation last week.

At a public hearing upon constitution of the Lagos Assembly committee, the police, the local government chairman, market women and other members of the Ejigbo community had denied knowledge of the crime, even as sources from the community insisted the crime happened in the public glare.

As efforts progressed into finding the perpetrators, the police, through its DPO in Ejigbo, CSP Oliver Abbey had clearly shown complicity and  laxity by claiming it doubted the event happened at all, evidently by doing nothing about it. CSP Abbey was later deployed out of the area after his compromised position became clear to his superiors.

It is expected that the arrested gang would be tried for the crime of murder, and the illegal sum collected from Mr. Freeman, the palm wine tapper to secure his wife and daughters recovered.

A few days ago,news of the nun who broke her vows to stay celebrate but became pregnant hit the net. The interesting part is the fact that she claimed she didn't know she was with child and thought she had only been experiencing 'stomach cramps' #rollingmyeyes!# like she was supposed to be pregnant in the first place!
 Here's how the story goes anyway :

33 year old Roxana Rodriguez, a nun with the order of the Little Disciples of Jesus, initially claimed she thought her labour pains were 'stomach cramps' when an ambulance rushed her to the hospital.

Her picture was published this weekend in the Italian daily newspaper, Corriere Della Sera. The new mum reportedly told her social worker:

'I am so happy. I feel more of a mother than a nun, I think that's obvious. I decided to call him Francis in honour of our wonderful south American Pope. I do not feel of guilt. I will be keeping him and bringing him up. He is a gift from God. I am little worried about all the publicity, not only in Italy but in El Salvador and all over the world. Everyone is talking about this and I don't think I will be able to return to my home country"

Sister Roxana took her vows and became a nun in the order last September and has since written an apology letter to the Church and her Mother Superior. She revealed that the father of her child is a man from her native El Salvador but has not named him. Continue...


A priest close to the new mum told the Italian magazine:

'It all happened last spring, around March or April time when she was back in El Salvador to get her passport renewed. She has not said who the father is but I understand he is an, shall we say, old flame of hers from when she was younger. At some stage I expect she will tell the father that he has a son and they will be reunited but I don't know when that will be.'

 "DO AS I SAY"

Jaji took another hasty glance at his wristwatch and chewed on his lower lip. 4:26pm. Four minutes more and the appointment with Chief Akindele would have been futile. He wondered why Famous would never ever keep to time.  He wondered still why he too never learnt from past experiences and went ahead to schedule appointments with him! Well,he was the person dictating the tune here having intimated him about the vacancy in Chief Akindele's household.
 The sound of an oncoming Okada alerted him and he quickly raised his head to find Famous jauntily sitting astride his Okada as he veered into the compound. He marched the brakes and gestured at him to hop in behind him.
"Na now you dey com abi?" Jaji's forehead was still creased in a tight frown.
"So far I com now." He scratched his  overly grown hair and grinned.
"I go so vex if Chief Akindele refuse to see us o,cos time when hin giv us na 4:30.. na to five now!"
"Cool down Jaji! Chief Akindele na nice man. He even give my broda work for hin oil factory."
 Jaji rolled his eyes. Famous was either dumb or his effort at humour was lame! How did his brother's employment relate to the fact that they were behind time?!
 However,he settled himself firmly behind his friend on his Okada and Famous stepped on the accelerator.
In less than 20 minutes they arrived Chief Akindele's premises which was a magnificent building that reeked of wealth and opulence.
"Oh boy,some pipo dey get money for dis life o!" Famous exclaimed in wonder,eyeing the massive see-through gate and massive structure in the compound.
"Sharrap dia! Na every where u go dey do like bush man?" Jaji nudged his ribs.
"Na true o. Make I behave myself. Chief fit get video wey go dey video us as we stand here so oo." His eyebrows furrowed in fright.
"Cctv you mean?" Jaji smiled momentarily, somewhat pleased he knew the true meaning of the 'video' as implied by Famous. "Abeg Famous,ring the bell make we know wetin dey for us."
Famous did just that and a few seconds later the gate slid open. The uniformed gate man that scurried down resembled a club bouncer. Well above 6ft and thickly set,he towered above Jaji and Famous,glowering at them.
"Good day Sir. Please, we are here to see Chief Akindele." Jaji quickly said,not a bit trusting his friend to speak coherently.
"Yes? Do you have an appointment with Chief?" the gate man's voice was a friend to thunder.
"Yes." Jaji and Famous chorused in unison.
He eyed them briefly and handed a visitors'form for them to fill. When they were done, he told them to hold on a while and then disappeared inside the compound. A few minutes later he returned and ushered them in.
Jaji and his friend waited at the visitors' room,their hearts racing furiously,eagerly. Each man's mind wandered,simultaneously thinking what he would do with with his first salary. Their thoughts were rudely interrupted by the deep voice of the gate man. "Oga say mek una com dis way." He called at them from the doorway. They stood and followed him to Chief Akindele's living room where they met him seated in a collapsible chair with a glass of red wine in his hand.
"Good evening Chief." Jaji and Famously instantly prostrated before him.
"Hmmm.." he nodded and turned towards them. Soon as he set his eyes on the prostrated form of the men he got up abruptly and demanded,"Who..who.. are you? "
Jaji turned to his friend and they exchanged surprised glances.
"Chief,haaa..its me o. Na me Famous that you say make I come and get a job as a driver here." he rushed, standing up. He took a tentative step nearer Chief who was staring at them blankly. Jaji got up too and watched Chief. His eyes appeared somewhat droopy like..he was high on some sort of drugs!
" When did i..i..tell you to come?" Chief Akindele threw his head and began to laugh hysterically.
"Chief.." famous started to say.
"Don't chief me.. they are after me.. they are after you......" was all Chief ever muttered again before he collapsed on the chair. A few seconds later his glazy eyes shut on to sleep. And then he started to snore heavily.
"Famous,na to comot here o. Dis Chief na psychro-chro. The man don sleep!" Jaji whispered and took his friend's hand.
" which kind yeye psychro-chro? No be any psychro-chro o! Na my village people dey worry me...dem no want mek I get beta job. Na Okada dem want my enemy to dey ride all de days of hin life,not me! Come follow me go see my shepherd. Hin musto pray for us -"
Jaji dragged his friend out of chief's living room and preceded him out the gate.
"You no hear say Chief say 'they are after you...' and hin dey refer to me! if not,wetin go mek am forget appointment wey Hin get with us? huh? Talk now? " Famous rounded on Jaji soon as they stepped out.
Jaji shook his head in exasperation and said," Famous,all those words na the disjointed words of a drug addict naa -"
"Wetin be disjointed? Sometimes Jaji E dey pain me say you no finish school!" he threw at him,every word oozing of sarcasm.
Jaji folded his arms and hid a small smile. "So wetin you plan to do now? Since revelation don come from your future employer say dem dey worry you from village? Cos as for me I no fit work for junkie."
"Dat na your own!" Famous countered. "God fit use anybody tell you word. You go folo me go see my shepherd kia kia! Now now hin go wash my head with holy water and we go return back to dis house. I must work for big man! Dem no use Okada work swear for me!" he sounded almost enraged now.
"Hmm..." Jaji sighed and got behind Famous who had already started the Okada.
As the wind blew past them through the streets of Coral,Jaji was grinning from ear to ear. He never for once had the slightest idea that his friend was this daft. Well,maybe a bit naive but not out rightly foolish!
In no time they arrived the Shepherd's house which happened to be a thatched-roof hut situated near the river. When he saw the men alight from an Okada from within the darkly illuminated hut he rose from his lying position and went to them.
"Shepherd good evening." Famous bowed his head. Jaji mumbled something under his breathe that resembled a greeting and ran his eyes through the thickly bearded Shepherd wearing a long,white robe.
"Come in lost Sheep." He said in a soft voice that instantly reminded Jaji of a girl.
Na you be lost sheep! Jaji rebuked within himself and followed them in.
After they got seated on a rickety bench,Famous reeled the uncanny revelation from his employer and promptly awaited the Shepherd's solution.
The shepherd cleared his throat and said," Chief was right!"
Famous turned to Jaji with the 'I-told-you-so!' expression and quickly prodded the shepherd to go with a nod.
"Some of your family members do not want you to work for Chief! They are witches and wizards but they shall never succeed. I must do the "touch and follow' good luck charm for you right away and you must return to Chief's house. Immediately you touch him,he follows your every command. I tell you,the job will be yours. The shepherd has spoken! " He got up and went into an inner room. He emerged with a white plastic bottle. He handed it over to Famous and said in that feminine voice again," Wash your face with this holy water and ask Chief anything..."
Immediately Famous went on his knees and rendered effusive gratitude to the shepherd.
"It's only three thousand five naira only." He said finally,with a smile curving his dark lips.
"Ok Shepherd." Famous quickly dipped his hand into his trouser pocket and brought out the money.

It should be. Which right thinking man abuses his own wife sexually? That derives perverse pleasure in ripping her clothes before banging into her violently with her both hands held tightly against the bed?
I've been married for only 6 months now and I don't think I can take it any longer. I even endured this long because of the shame and gossip that it would bring in my family. You see,i married late..at the age of 35. So you can see why i've been suffering in silence. They would say "See Stella that just married yesterday! She's out of her husband's house! Na wa! "
Do you know I dated this man for 4 months before our wedding and never for once did he reveal this devilish perversion? Well,may be because I only allowed him to have sex with me once. After then I told him we had to quit sex till after marriage which he agreed without a fuss. I still remember he'd been a very gentle,passionate lover that first time. Honestly I don't know what has happened to him!
 After he violates me at night he buys me gifts in the mornings and is all over me like nothing ever happened the night before.
At some point I tried to fight back,but oh dear was it pointless! The animal overpowered me and in fact that night was the most terrible of them all.

Kanye West punches teenager for calling his fiancee Kim Kardashian a stupid slut!

According to TMZ, the dramatic altercation allegedly unfolded yesterday at around midday as Kardashian, 33, entered a furniture store - and the teenager held the door for her so she could walk into a furniture showroom in Beverly Hills.
As Kim walked in, the guy allegedly said:
'F**k these fa**ot-ass n****rs' referring to the paparazzi .
The reality star told the young man that the N-word was not appropriate to use. That's when the teenager turned on the TV star, screaming:
 'F**k you bitch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n****r lover, stupid slut.'
A perturbed Kardashian then allegedly phoned Kanye, 36, to tell him what was happening. Then, according to TMZ, 'when the guy realized Kanye was on the phone he allegedly said, 'F**k you N****r.' - so that the rap star could hear.
However, just minutes later, an enraged Kanye arrived to meet up with Kim and learn face-to-face what had happened.
The guy ran into a chiropractic office, Kanye and Kim stormed into the office and reportedly found the teen sitting there. Kanye confronted the guy but he continued with the slurs,' the source said. 'He was in Kanye's face and wouldn't stop. He was taunting Kanye.
Witnesses say Kanye then punched the guy and Kim screamed, 'We have it all on tape'. A third party had to separate the two men and shortly after police were called.
The unidentified 18-year-old man, has now told Beverly Hills police that he wants to press charges against the Yeesuz star and law enforcement sources in LA have confirmed that Kanye is now officially a suspect and that the matter has been referred to the LA County DA for possible  prosecution.

Amazing! Doctors in Sweden successfully carry out Womb transplant.

The Doctors at the University of Gothenburg Sweden carried out womb transplant for 9  women who were born without a womb and it turned out to be successful!

  They are waiting for them to get pregnant. This new kind of surgery is geared towards helping women who are born without wombs, a medical condition called MKRH or had there uterus removed due to severe medical conditions such as cervical cancer.

The wombs received were from mothers or female relatives of the recipients. All nine women are currently ovulating which is a good sign that the wombs are doing fine inside the women. 

 Head surgeon for this process Dr Mats Brannstrom said :"This is a research study. It could lead to the women having children, but there are no guarantees …what is certain is that they are making a contribution to science."

 It's a very welcome development. Nice one.

The Former Minister of Aviation,Chief Femi Fani Kayode took to his facebook page a few hours ago accusing Goodluck Jonathan of hating the Yorubas.

President Goodluck Jonathan and those within his inner circle simply hate the yoruba. And we the yoruba did not resist, fight and defeat the hegemony of other nationalities in the last 100 years just for it to be replaced with Ijaw domination. 

I have said it before and I will say it again, if we cannot have a level playing field for all tribes, all religions and all nationalities in Nigeria and if we cannot all be treated as equals then let Nigeria cease to exist. 

If you want Nigeria to continue to remain as one country into the distant future there must be no more ''masters'' and no more ''servants''. 

If we cannot be treated as equals we the yoruba will forcefully resist the tyranny of our oppressors and we will scuttle and sabotage this man-made geographical expression called Nigeria until it ceases to exist. 

And if, in the misguided and confused minds of some, that makes us tribalists or ethnic supremacists so be it. 

We cannot be held back from our natural pace of development anymore. We cannot allow the natural excellence of the yoruba to be sacrificed on the alter of Nigeria. 

We cannot allow the gains and massive contributions of our forefathers and our heroes past to be treated with contempt and ridicule or to be squandered and to be in vain. 

Nigeria is 100 years old this year. It is time for us to decide whether we want to stay together for another 100 years or whether we want to go our separate ways within the next five years. 

It is time for us to decide whether we want to be the captain of our ship and the master of our soul or the spineless and perpetual serfs of those that come from other climes.

President Goodluck signs Same sex Prohibition bill 2013 into Law!

Regardless of several protests from some countries, President Goodluck Jonathan has signed Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Bill 2013 into law.
Some foreign embassies were shocked by the development leading to ‘curious’ inquiries from the Federal Government.  But despite the inquiries, the Federal Government said there is no going back.

The signed bill says the gays in Nigeria will however risk a 14-year jail term if they do not retrace their steps and renounce such marriage.
Also, any person who operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organizations directly or indirectly will earn 10-year imprisonment. Those who administer witness, abet or aid the solemnization of a same sex marriage are going to bag 10-year jail term.
